Former managing director of CUES Tech Port strikes out on her own

TAMPA, Fla. – Terry Treadwell, former managing director of the CUES Tech Port online advisory service for credit unions, is now offering her services as a technology consultant. Her twist? “Virtual consulting.” “I realize that few credit unions can afford traditional consulting services. High hourly costs, high overhead and travel put these out of reach,” she says. “I know from my experience serving hundreds of credit unions at Tech Port that these advisory services can be provided to you without leaving my office at a fraction of the traditional consulting price.” The banking industry veteran and CPA will offer by e-mail and telephone her expertise in such areas as Web site and Internet banking usability benchmarking, strategic planning and project management, and e-commerce vendor selection and contract review. “Most industry consultants are charging $175 or more per hour,” Treadwell says. “I am making my services available for $75 per hour.” She also plans a bi-weekly e-mail newsletter focusing on credit union financial performance topics and technology performance that will be free to credit union industry executives, including vendors.
