ARLINGTON, Va.-NAFCU's Board of directors is made up of dedicated volunteers, much like the credit union movement. The board ensures that NAFCU maintains contact with its members and is responsive to its membership's needs. NAFCU's Board consists of 12 experienced credit union representatives elected from the membership, by the membership. Six directors are elected from within each of NAFCU's six regions and the other six are elected at-large. Board terms last three years and board members may serve up to three terms. NAFCU is geared toward providing "federal credit unions with outstanding service to flourish in today's financial and economic marketplace," according to the organization's official Web site (www.nafcu.org). NAFCU even encourages members to contact board members directly with their concerns regarding the organization. Here's a listing of each of the board members, the region they represent, and their contact information.
