MADISON, Wis. – CUNA Mutual Group and lending solutions firm APPRO Systems said they are partnering 50/50 to form a new lending call center company serving credit unions exclusively. While it will at first be 50/50 owned by the two companies, ownership will soon open up to the leagues and credit unions in hopes of creating a credit union industry owned call center lending firm. Both companies are heavy into lending. CUNA Mutual has its LOANLINER product, while APPRO has its own loan origination system as well as LoanLink, a lending center. The new company will temporarily operate under the LoanLink name until a new name is selected, and will be headquartered in APPRO's call center in Dallas. Last year the two companies formed a loan servicing agreement where they began marketing CUNA Mutual's LOANLINER and loanliner.com product with APPRO's LoanCenter loan origination system and its decisioning tool.
