Pieces of NCUA strategic plan coming together

<p>ALEXANDRIA, Va.-NCUA recently released another missing piece in its 2003-2008 Strategic Plan. Following the release two weeks ago of the workforce evaluation, the agency released Appendix E: Strategic Program Evaluation. The final portion on technology is expected out later this month. “The NCUA uses an integrated process through which its program and the data used to assess the agency’s progress toward its strategic goals are evaluated from several perspectives to ensure appropriate alignment, integrity, validity and focus,” the section reads. The appendix to the agency strategic plan briefly discusses each entity that evaluates or work that aids the review of the strategic program. These include the Strategic Management Council headed by Executive Director Len Skiles; quarterly performance updates; monthly management reports; and the strategic and annual performance plans and reports, among others.</p>
