CLEARWATER, Fla. -During the 2002 Card Services for Credit Unions Annual Meeting, Toledo Area Catholic Credit Union President/CEO Patrick McGrady has been elected the new board chairman. McGrady will replace Motorola Employees CU President/CEO John Fiore whose three-year term recently expired. “I look forward to carrying on the tradition of service that John and the entire CSCU staff have established. I am pleased to have the opportunity to work closely with the CSCU staff and Certegy to deliver even more value to our members and their cardholders,” said McGrady. Serving on the CSCU Board since 1996, McGrady was elected to the CUNA Board of Directors in 1997 and had previously served eight years on the CUES Board where he was a past Chairman and is a member of the CUES Hall of Fame. During 2000, McGrady was named the Ohio Credit Union League Professional of the Year and in 2001, the Governor of Ohio appointed McGrady to serve as a member of the Credit Union Council. In addition, the following officers have been elected to join McGrady on the board: ECCU President/CEO Robert Hunt, vice chairman; Envision CU President/CEO Ray E. Cromer, Jr., treasurer; and Team One CU President/CEO Konnie Werner, secretary. “We are fortunate to have a talented Board such that when one chairman steps down, another strong leader can step in. Pat has been recognized numerous times throughout his distinguished career for excellence and achievement. We know that his service and dedication can only enhance CSCU’s value to our member credit unions, ” said CSCU President Bob Hackney.
