<p>City & County Credit Union, Oakdale, Minn., has selected design/build firm DEI, Inc. to construct its new branch on the corner of 10th Street and Inwood Avenue. Directly behind the new branch will be a lake. To tie the geographic area with the “lake” woodsy feel, the exterior and interior will consist of great lake stone. CME Federal Credit Union, Columbus, Ohio, has broken ground on a new branch in Pickerington. The 4,000 square-foot facility will feature a large open lobby, conference room, children’s area, safe deposit boxes and a four-lane drive through that includes a drive-up ATM. In addition, the branch will be offering Saturday hours and extended weekday hours to better serve members. SRP Federal Credit Union, has held its ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Barnwell branch. The new 7,000-square-foot facility provides a more spacious lobby, individual offices for greater privacy, and a transparent-walled kiddy corner to entertain the young ones. Illinois Community Credit Union, Sycamore, Ill., has started construction on its new DeKalb branch. The facility will be 2,400 square feet complete with three drive-up lanes, drive-up ATM, four teller windows and four private offices. Gerber Federal Credit Union, Fremont, Mich. has recently purchased land to build a new branch in Fremont. Plans are underway to place a state-of-the-art facility on the property. GFCU has over $78 million in assets and serves nearly 15,000 members.</p>
