<p>PASEDENA, Calif. – Wescom Credit Union is headed on air. As the corporate sponsor of public radio station KPCC 89.3FM, WCU will air announcements on KPCC and participate in select events organized by the station. “Public radio is supported by listeners and promotes consumer education and the public interest,” said Wescom CU President/CEO Darren Williams. “That’s a philosophy we believe in too.” Activities planned include Wescom CU Night at the Hollywood Bowl and the Wescom Speaker Series. The Speaker Series debuts on June 25 with “A Conversation with David Brancaccio”, when the renowned public radio host/ author will offer offbeat thoughts on personal finance. KPCC 89.3FM is located on the campus of Pasadena City College and reaches 350,000 weekly listeners.</p>
