CHAPIN, S.C. – XP Systems’ core processing clients now can use PM Systems Corp.’s Internet banking module, the two companies say. The WebFederal2 solution will provide a robust alternative to more-expensive options available to credit unions who have found the admission price to Internet banking more than they could afford, PM Systems executives say. “We were able to reach our pricing objectives because our platform is built around newer, faster and far less-costly technology than older platforms currently offered in this space,” says Mark McCormick, director of software development. “Combined with our other Internet products such as TellerChat, WebLender, Loan Center, Portfolio Tracker and our second-generation WebFederal2 Edit-in-Place technology, our Internet Banking solution adds tremendous value to the XP Systems environment while controlling cost and risk,” McCormick says. Eight Internet banking vendors, including business partner Digital Insight, “have passed testing to use our standard home banking interface,” according to John Edwards, XP Systems’ senior vice president of business development. “PM Systems has long been a business partner of ours, providing network solutions to many of our customers, so when they added Internet banking functionality, it was a natural fit,” he adds. PM Systems serves about 290 credit unions with its Internet banking and other integrated systems and disaster-recovery solutions, and 92 credit unions are clients of the company’s CU-Defense security management and consulting services.
