<p>NEW ORLEANS – Technology's role in bolstering the bottom line was the focus of USERS Inc.'s recent 2002 User Group Meeting in the Big Easy. More than 200 clients of the Pennsylvania-based Fiserv unit gathered with USERS staffers at the Sheraton New Orleans on April 25-26 to explore specific ways to use the new tools of the trade to improve the return they get on their investment in their business. "The current marketplace demands that credit unions harness technology's potential to create an efficient, effective and highly competitive operation," says USERS President Joe Barry. To that end, the User Group Meeting focused on four tracks – relationship management, e-commerce, infrastructure and fundamentals of USERS' DataSafe core system.</p>
