SAN DIMAS, Calif. – Living the Dream, a WesCorp-produced 20-minute documentary about the credit union movement, is a finalist in the 23rd Annual Telly Awards. The Telly Awards recognize outstanding work among non-network and cable television commercials, films, and videos. Being named a “finalist” is the second tier award. Entries are named either “winners”, “finalists” or get no recognition from judges. In last year’s Telly’s there were 11,000 entries, with 18% named as finalists, and 10% as winners. The Living the Dream video highlights the human side of credit unions by looking at three credit union members who have had some tough times in their lives, and documenting how credit unions helped them pursue their dreams.
