Wescom CU celebrates grand opening

<p>PASADENA, Calif. – Wescom Credit Union has celebrated the grand opening of its Glendora branch located inside Albertson’s Supermarket. Members of the Glendora City Council and Chamber of Commerce attended the grand opening celebration. The full service in-store branch offers extended hours and marks Wescom CU’s fourth supermarket branch. Recently, John Frassoco, a new Wescom CU member won a raffle for a two-minute shopping spree at the Glendora branch. With his family and Team Wescom cheering him on, Frassoco piled $482.22 worth of shrimp, roasts and other meat items into his grocery cart. Local pop music station KIIS 102.7FM, landed its helicopter in the parking lot so popular disc jockey “Commander Chuck Street” could participate and rally the crowd. According to Kathy Marcelleta, Glendora branch manager, the day proved successful for everyone involved. “You can’t get a better relationship builder,” said Marcelleta. “We got involved with our members and Albertson’s had more exposure to people, the media and a big sale.”</p>
