DULUTH, GA – Georgia Central Credit Union has promoted Amy M. Fuller to Vice President of Marketing. Fuller was formerly Assistant Vice President, Marketing/Business Development, a position she attained after leading an initiative to create the corporate’s Business Development division. “Amy has exhibited exceptional professional skill and leadership ability during a challenging time for the corporate,” says Gregory S. Moore, President/CEO. “I’m confident that we’ll continue to benefit from the contributions and strategic vision she’ll offer in this newly appointed role.” Moore said Fuller’s promotion is indicative of the climate of renewal at the corporate after seeing a merger with Southwest Corporate FCU not play out and the departure of former CEO David Preter to Mid-States. “Georgia Central is seeking to reinvigorate its image as a player in the fast-paced financial services environment. Product development is going to be a key component of our strategic plan, said Fuller.” She said that Georgia Central plans to create a dedicated product development staff position in order to facilitate Georgia Central’s ability to bring products to market quickly. Fuller’s promotion is not the only staff change at Georgia Central. Angie Snow, who had been working as a consultant on a range of products over the past year, was hired as a permanent Product Manager in the Investment Services department. Tracy Moyer, who had served as Senior Accountant for Georgia Central for a year and a half, was promoted to Assistant Controller. Demetrius Lind, after two years as a Staff Accountant, was brought into the vacated Senior Accountants position. According to the corporate, more personnel changes are on the horizon.
