<p>WASHINGTON – The Association of Corporate Credit Unions is going to commission a study to look at how corporate credit unions can best serve credit unions in the future. The study will be funded by an independent grant from U.S. Central Credit Union. It will be conducted by an outside firm selected by the ACCU. "We're at the initial stages of formulating the criteria, but the study will look at what corporates have to do to best serve America's credit unions of the future," said ACCU Executive Director Gigi Hyland. She said a key part of this will be looking at what products and services corporates will need to offer, and how they can leverage their economies of scale to deliver them more effectively. Hyland said the study may also look at the structure of the corporate network. "For the last five years ACCU has served as a recognized forum for corporate interaction and unity on issues of common interest like regulation and legislation," said Mark Schroeder, ACCU Chairman and President/CEO, Wisconsin Corporate Central Credit Union. "However, continued growth of the network demands more innovative thinking. This study represents ACCU's commitment to proactively serve corporates and help them evaluate the products and services they need to offer to serve credit unions in the coming years."</p>
