ONTARIO, Calif. – CO-OP Network User’s Training Program is hitting the road. Designed to expand one-on-one communications with member credit unions the training will cover day-to-day activities performed by credit unions based on their relationship with CO-OP Network, including pulling reports, researching transactions, balancing ATM terminals and creating adjustments. A pilot training program was conducted last year, in conjunction with the CO-OP Network/Midwest ATM Company merger, to familiarize MAC credit unions with CO-OP Network. During a five-day period, staff from MAC’s 72 credit unions in Missouri and Kansas participated in sessions that addressed electronic funds transfer methods and techniques used by CO-OP Network member credit unions. This year’s content has been expanded to apply to both new and longtime member credit unions. Throughout the year, CO-OP Network staff members – including senior management, client services and business development personnel – will travel across the country to address the essential topics and inquiries that credit unions have pertaining to their relationship with CO-OP Network. Additionally, a 350-page user’s manual and CD-Rom are provided as an in-house resource for participating credit unions. The CO-OP Network User’s Training Program will pass through the following cities in 2002: Salt Lake City, UT, March 21 Denver, CO, April 18 Detroit, MI, May 23 Boston, MA, June 19 San Diego, CA, July 24 San Francisco, CA, August 14 Las Vegas, NV, September 18 Chicago, IL, October 8 Columbia, SC, November 14 For more information regarding the 2002 User’s Training Program, contact CO-OP Network training coordinator Jeff Crume at (800) 782-9042, ext. 2508.
