<p>WASHINGTON – Credit union data processor Symitar Systems is moving beyond an in-house system. At CUNA’s GAC the processor announced that its Symitar for Windows core system can now be delivered in service bureau mode. Last year Symitar also made its Conductor product available online however Conductor, a system from the former Peerless Systems, was primarily for mid-sized credit unions The Symitar for Windows core system is geared for CUs with 15,000 or more members. A Symitar spokesperson said the move comes in response to credit union demand. The spokesperson said the company has heard in recent years from CUs that said they would quickly become Symitar clients if there was a service bureau version of its system. Symitar is a subsidiary of Jack Henry & Associates.</p>
