HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Credit Union League and preferred provider TransUnion have launched "CU Reports", a tiered pricing structure based on the total volume of credit reports purchased by participating credit unions. To participate, a credit union must be affiliated with the PCUL, agree to use TransUnion as their primary source for credit reports and report accounts receivable tapes to TransUnion. "We've been looking to provide our members with a cooperative program of this nature for some time," said PCUL President/CEO Jim McCormack. "Until recently, consistent pricing for credit reports was only available on a local basis." Currently there are 259 credit unions in the state utilizing TransUnion for credit reports. TransUnion will provide service from their Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Williamsport offices.
