ENGLEWOOD, Colo. & MIDWAY, Utah – Credit union Net banking firm Liberty Cavion and core processor Reed Data, Inc. have partnered to integrate Reed Data's suite of optical imaging and archiving systems with Liberty Cavion's Internet banking solutions. According to Mike Provenzano, Liberty Enterprises Executive Vice President, Internet Applications and Business Groups, anything that a credit union mails to members could be delivered over the Internet, including share draft images, signed loan documents and receipts. "For example, members can access images of their cleared checks faster than a MSR can find the microfiche, load it, find the check, copy it, and mail it," Provenzano said. Credit unions are adopting optical imaging/Net delivery systems in an effort to reduce paper storage and at the same time reduce mailing and delivery costs.
