<p>WEIRTON, Va. -Steel Works Community Credit Union is helping Ohio Valley workers through rough financial times. Over the past few months workers here have been experiencing a reduction in wages and/or work hours. SWCCU has offered assistance to these members with existing loans to help lighten their financial load. "We will do whatever we can to help these employees in their time of financial need," said SWCCU President Richard Krauland. "Being active in the community has always been a priority for our credit union so this is just in keeping with the credit union philosophy." SWCCU has $200 million in assets and serves more than 38,000 members.</p>
