<p>RICHARDSON, Texas – Texans Credit Union, the fifth largest credit union in the state, filed two applications with the Credit Union Division that will expand the $1.1 billion credit union's potential field-of-membership by more than a million people. In the first application, Texans applied to add Travis and Williamson counties, which surround the city of Austin. The second application allows the credit union to add to its existing FOM persons who also attend school in the geographic area Texans currently serves. The credit union currently counts those who live and work in the geographic area in its FOM. Texans CU has 250,000 members.</p>
