<p>CU Times Washington Reporter ALEXANDRIA, Va.-The two new recess appointees to the NCUA Board, Iowa State Senator JoAnn Johnson and UN Official Deborah Matz, are jumping in to their new responsibilities at the agency with both feet. Johnson and Matz received recess appointments to the NCUA Board January 22 and were sworn in at the agency on the 23rd. Their appointments followed a month-long period when NCUA had only one board member, Chairman Dennis Dollar. Former Board Members Yolanda Wheat and Geoff Bacino left the board December 21.
