<p>WASHINGTON-Election time is coming up sooner than you think. In preparation, CUNA’s governmental affairs department has posted three posters on its Web site for credit unions to use to encourage their members to vote. More than 40% of voters in the 2000 election were credit union members, according to CUNA’s Vice President of Political Action Richard Gose. Additionally, he said, credit union members tend to be more politically active than the average citizen. To view the posters, visit CUNA’s home page at www.cuna.org, click on Governmental Affairs and then Political Involvement. Then simply ‘Get out the vote.’</p>
