<p>MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. – Liberty Enterprises plans to continue its efforts to raise funds for disaster relief through a special checks program until March 1. Ongoing donations are targeted for the New York State World Trade Center Relief Fund. At press time, the program had already raised more than $104,000 for the Credit Unions Rebuild America (CURA) Fund organized by the National Credit Union Foundation. CURA acted as a central collection point for donations that were channeled in support of relief efforts to help those in New York, Washington, D.C. and other communities impacted by September 11′s events. Since late September, Liberty designated $5 per order of two special check styles – Flag of Freedom and Firefighters. The program raised $40,610 through Jan. 4. Liberty Enterprises Chairman and President/CEO David Copham said a donation will be presented to WTC Relief Fund Administrations in early to mid-March.</p>
