WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Credit unions helped make the holiday season a little brighter for those less fortunate. Here is just a glimpse at how some credit unions and leagues spread some cheer:

Pacific Service Credit Union has donated $15,000 for the assembly and distribution of food baskets for low-income families. Each year, the Salvation Army distributes food baskets to qualified underprivileged families all over the country. The baskets are designed to feed families for four to five days over the holidays.

The employees of the Pennsylvania Credit Union League and Pacul Services, Inc. have donated more than 100 new toys for children to unwrap on Christmas morning.
