WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Since voting unanimously to support the distribution of New York CU Foundation Disaster Relief Funds, the New York State Credit Union League board is planning a disbursement to victims during the next few months. Credit unions around the country have donated over $1 million to the fund. Here is one last look at the many ways credit unions have supported relief efforts:
After 77 days, Chartway Federal Credit Union's United We Stand Relief Program has raised a total of $25,449.98 to support the United Way's September 11th Fund.
Fiscal Federal Credit Union donated $12,524 to the NYCUF Disaster Relief Fund and shipped over $1,000 in toys to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign in Brooklyn.

GTE Federal Credit Union has donated $167,000 to the United Way September 11th Fund.
Jax Federal Credit Union, has raised $5,132.75 for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
Tower Federal Credit Union has donated $18,389.17 to benefit the American Red Cross Family Assistance Program.
Denton Area Teachers Credit Union collected over $14,000 for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and donated over $4,000 to the local United Way.
Arizona State Savings and Credit Union has raised $21,612 for disaster relief victims. $10,000 was donated to the NYCUF and $11,000 went to the Credit Unions Rebuild America Fund.
The Tyler Area Chapter of Credit Unions has presented a $3,088.26 relief fund check to the Texas Credit Union Foundation.
California Coast Credit Union has raised $8,000 to benefit the American Red Cross National Disaster Relief Fund.
The Golden 1 Credit Union has donated a total of $58,173.22 to the September 11th Fund.
Colorado State Employees Credit Union has donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross.
Redwood Credit Union has presented the American Red Cross a $20,000 relief fund check and the United Way $24,000 in donations.
Community First Credit Union has donated a total of $11,597 to local area American Red Cross organizations.
Baton Rouge Teachers Federal Credit Union has matched member donations and presented the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund $4,508.55.
Oregon Metro Federal Credit Union has donated $1,030.27 to the NYCUF and $500 to the Pentagon disaster Relief Fund.
