Cabrillo Credit Union, San Diego, Calif., has donated over $300 for the San Diego's Children's hospital. Participating in Kids NewsDay, a fundraiser, which sells a special-edition of the San Diego Union-Tribune. Cabrillo Credit Union supports Children's Hospital through the Miracle Month of May fundraiser in the spring and Kids NewsDay fundraiser in the fall. The credit union raises approximately $10,000 per year for the hospital. U.S. New Mexico Federal Credit Union, Albuquerque, has raised over $500 for charity. The $306 million credit union split the proceeds evenly between the American Red Cross and the New Mexico Sickle Cell Society. A team of 20 employees and friends washed over 100 cars, and could have washed more if the rain had not washed them out first.
