ATLANTA-CRI has launched a new training program designed to educate credit union employees in four skill sets: understanding products, cross-servicing skills, communication skills, and leadership/motivation tools. "Today's credit union members increasingly expect their lenders to act as advisors and help them make informed choices, but most credit unions lack the time, money, and resources to effectively train their staff in this capacity," said Robin Jones, CRI director of marketing and training. "We have developed our training program not only to impart product information, but also to deliver a firm grounding in sales, communications, and management skills." The program modules can be completed within one hour and cover such training topics as Understanding Credit Insurance Products, Developing and Improving Cross-Servicing Skills, Developing and Improving Communication Skills and Fostering Leadership and Motivation Skills.
