CARMEL, Ind. and DALLAS – Allied Solutions, LLC has launched an Internet-based vehicle title-tracking product incorporating electronic lien and title services. Powered by VINtek, an automotive industry software and services company, ELT allows credit unions to store digital lien notifications instead of paper titles. "We're pleased to offer our clients this valuable new service," said Pete Hilger, Allied Solutions sales/retail products division president. "In the automotive finance business, it's critical for lenders to know the location of their collateral titles at all times in order to reduce operation cost and avoid risk." Currently Allied Solutions' clients in California, Florida, Idaho, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington will be able to take advantage of ELT, as these states are currently approved to offer the service. Additional states, such as Texas, Arizona, Hawaii and New Hampshire are introducing ELT, which is currently a state motor vehicle agency initiative.
