WALLINGFORD, Conn. – U.S. Congressman John B. Larson (D-Conn.) signed Certificates of Special Congressional Recognition that were sent to members of the Trinidad and Tobago credit union movement to show his appreciation for their interest in developing an ongoing relationship with the Credit Union Association of Connecticut. Receiving the certificates were: Virgil Patrick, general manager of the Cooperative Credit Union League of Trinidad and Tobago (CCULTT); Desiree Gobin, CPU Manager of CCULTT; and seven credit union managers and board members. The Certificates of Special Recognition honored the nine recipients for their "involvement with the Connecticut Credit Union Association and the World Council of Credit Unions to increase awareness with the Trinidad and Tobago credit union movement."
