LAKE JACKSON, Texas – To spread the word about its Moola Moola Kids Savings Club, the Texas Dow Employees Credit Union hosted its first annual Moola Picnic. The Moola Club, which teaches children about the value of saving money also tries to incorporate fun with savings. Approximately 100 Moola Club members and their parents enjoyed the playful picnic that included a clown, balloon artist, moonwalk and face painting. "The Moola Moola Kids Savings Club has been an exceptionally rewarding program for TDECU and the kids alike," said TDECU President/CEO John May. "We were happy to have this opportunity to do something fun for these kids." Almost 600 children ages 4 through 12 currently participate in the Moola Club.
