DALLAS -The Texas Credit Union Marketing Council and the Texas Credit Union League have recently recognized the state’s best and brightest star marketers during the sixth annual Texas Lone Star Awards ceremony. The Texas Lone Star Awards honor excellence in credit union marketing and public relations based on success, creativity and informational/educational value. This year’s Marketer of the Year award was presented to Plano-based Community CU Vice President of Marketing Wendi Costlow. In addition, Austin Metropolitan Financial CU brought home the People’s Choice Award, which is selected by conference attendees.
