WASHINGTON – Credit Union House played host to an investor’s reception for those who made credit unions’ new 8,300 square-foot landmark at 403 C St., NE in Washington a reality. For credit union league representatives around the country who were unable to attend the rescheduled Credit Union House investor’s reception on Nov. 7, here’s a glimpse of what you missed. The event included a tour of the house for the league investors, as well as plenty of hors d’oeurves and mingling. Attendees were addressed by credit union leaders, including CUNA President and CEO Dan Mica; Credit Union House, LLC. Chairman Carroll Beach, president of the Colorado and Wyoming Credit Union Leagues; and Massachusetts Credit Union League President Dan Egan. The event was originally scheduled as a Grand Opening on September 11, but had to be postponed due to the terrorist attack at the Pentagon, just outside of Washington, D.C.
