WALLINGFORD, Conn. – Connecticut consumers interested in learning which of the state's 150 CUs they're eligible to join will soon be able to go online to the California Credit Union League's Match-Up Web site to find out. The Connecticut Credit Union Association has agreed to add its member credit unions to the CCUL's Match-Up Web site at www.howtojoinacu.org.CCUL is coordinating the addition of the information into the database. Once the uploading of the information is completed, consumers will be able by entering their city, county, ZIP code, the name of their employer, occupation or school and the city the employer is located in, to get membership information on CUs in Connecticut, as well as in Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Louisiana, Nevada and Washington State. A new screen then displays the credit unions the user is eligible to join, with a link to more information about each credit union. Site users can search in English and Spanish.
