VALLEY FORGE, Pa. – Credit union data processor USERS announced that browser-based its Navigator software solution ais now installed at 75 credit unions. "The idea of reinventing the architecture of credit union core systems seems to be taking center stage today – yet most suppliers are either just beginning to initiate this long-term project or still in the exploratory phase," said USERS' Chief Technology Officer John Schooler. "USERS is already delivering the benefits of browser-based core applications at many credit union sites across the country." USERS' Teller Navigator and Lending Navigator use a familiar, browser-based interface to provide easy access to a wide range of front-office functions performed by tellers, member service representatives, call center staff and lending staff. Their thin client/server architecture enables the credit union to load the software and periodic updates just once on a central server – giving all authorized users immediate access to it, without the need for costly IT labor. As USERS' Navigator suite expands over time, it will include browser-based solutions for the cross-selling of products/services; the management of plastics programs; and the administration of loans, among other functions.
