HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – Credit Union Affiliates of New Jersey President/CEO Russell Clark will appear on a segment of CN8 Newsmakers next month in an interview conducted on Oct. 23 by CN8 host Nicole Fox. The program is scheduled to air Nov. 7-13. “Newsmakers” is a five-minute interview program produced by Comcast Cablevision. The segments air on CNN’s Headline News twice an hour. During the interview, Clark defined credit unions and detailed their mission and philosophy. He also promoted CUANJ’s upcoming annual conference and mentioned that CUANJ plans to honor the Harrison Police & Firemen FCU and other New Jersey credit unions for their September 11th disaster relief efforts. “As president and CEO of an association that represents nearly 250 credit unions and over 1.1 million members, I have the responsibility of being a spokesman for the credit union movement in New Jersey,” said Clark. “To continue to grow the credit union movement, we will intensify our efforts to increase our visibility in the news media in an effort to promote credit unions as viable alternatives to banks and other financial institutions.”
