INDIANAPOLIS – Internet solutions firm VIFI has been ranked 100th in the Inc. 500 annual listing. The Inc. 500 ranks the fastest growing private companies based on their increase in sales revenue over the previous five years. VIFI is ranked 100 due to a 2,353% growth between fiscal years 1996 and 2000. VIFI President Mike Winter attributed the growth to the “methodical execution of a solid business model.” Not only was its sales up over 2,000% from 1996 to 2000, but its employees grew by 2,000% in that timeframe. VIFI has over 170 financial clients, with the bulk being credit unions. It offers home banking, bill pay, online brokerage, wireless, aggregation and other products. To be eligible for the 2001 Inc. 500, companies have to be independently held with at least $200,000 in sales in 1996 and 2000 sales greater than 1999′s sales.
