PORTLAND, Ore. – Northwest Corporate Credit Union is now offering access to share draft images to credit unions via the Internet through its new NW QuickCheck solution. Northwest Corporate is processing over eight million share drafts a month for 81 credit unions in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. As always when paper is reduced, cost savings are talked about. “It is a pleasure to be able to reduce prices to our members. NW QuickCheck makes it faster and easier to get share draft copies, and to also provide cost savings for our credit unions is a huge plus,” said Northwest Corporate CU President/CEO Kathy Garner. The next phase of NW QuickCheck will make images available to the credit unions’ members through credit union home banking systems. The system is currently being tested and will be available in 2002.
