LATHAM, N.Y. – Credit unions have been left with many uncertainties concerning their future and the outlook for the economy as a result of September 11′s terrorist attacks. The New York State Credit Union League has scheduled a special series of free forums – "The Future of our Business" – to help answer some of their questions. The discussion forums will be led by the league's Strategic Consulting Services. They'll be held in every district in the last half of October and early November. League Vice President of Credit Union Services Sue Commanda acknowledged that many business-related issues have been created as a result of September 11′s events. She said the league felt it was time to help CUs across the state identify the issues and address them.
