Four OFS CUs choose Corporate Network eCom's bill pay piece

MADISON, Wis. – Four member CUs of the Open Financial Solutions CUSO are implementing bill payment remittance processing through Corporate Network eCom, LLC. WesCom CU went live with MemberGateway on Oct. 10; First Tech CU, Patelco CU, and Orange County Teachers FCU are in various launch stages. Together the four CUs are expected to increase MemberGateway monthly volume by 132,000. U.S. Central is the majority owner of Corporate Network eCom, with OFS having a small ownership stake. Two other OFS credit unions – Bellco CU and GTE FCU – already use Corporate Network eCom’s MemberStreet bill pay service. OFS, now consisting of eight CU owners and Corporate Network eCom, was started by six CUs about three years ago to work together to tackle technology problems. Its main goal was to create a middleware solution to cut down integration costs. It has done that with its MemberBridge product, which links Symitar and Summit DP system, to third-party solutions.
