CUNA Mutual goes live with Vignette applications

AUSTIN, Texas – CUNA Mutual Group is now using the services of content management application firm Vignette Corporation (www.vignette.com) to power its Web site (www.cunamutual.com). CUNA Mutual went live in June with Vignette applications. More than 1,100 pages were converted for the site’s implementation, and since the site went live there have been more than 200 changes made to the site’s pages. One of the reasons for going with Vignette, according to CUNA Mutual, was that changes can easily be made by staffers, even non-tech staffers. CUNA Mutual deployed the Vignetter Content Management Server (VCMS), the Vignetter Lifecycle Personalization Server (VLPS) and the Vignetter Advanced Deployment Server (VADS). VCMS enables CUNA Mutual employees to develop and update the Web site, while VLPS aids employees in finding information on its intranet site. VADS’ adaptability allows CUNA Mutual to transfer assets, code and financial content across environments based on business requirements.
