President George W. Bush spoke Sunday, October 7, at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial service in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The ceremony was to add 101 names of fallen firefighters across the country from 2000, plus a few from previous years. Bush thanked the firefighters for their service and noted the hundreds that will have to be added next year following the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. Firefighter and non-firefighter credit unions throughout the country have rallied together to raise money for fallen firefighters. The following are some CU and non-CU ways to donate to the firefighter victims of the Sept. 11 attacks. NYC Fallen Firefighters Fund c/o LAFCU P.O.
