ARLINGTON, Texas – The lineup of speakers is set for the groundbreaking TechMecca 2001 conference. TechMecca made headlines earlier this year for being a technology conference that will be jointly produced by the Texas CU League, the Independent Bankers Association of Texas and PULSE EFT Association. TechMecca is set to take place from Nov. 28-30 in the Arlington Convention Center. Dave Weinberger, a well-known author and commentator on the World Wide Web, will deliver the keynote address. Weinberger is expected to give his take on how the Web is transforming business operations and what it means for the consumer. Other speakers include Carl Pascarella, president/CEO of Visa U.S.A.; Bruce Schneier, an Internet security expert; and futurist Edward Barlow Jr.
