PALO ALTO, Calif. – Stanford Federal Credit Union is accepting donations for a newly established disaster relief fund. Open to the general public and members, 100% of the donations will be delivered to the American Red Cross for the National Disaster Relief Fund. According to SFCU President/CEO John R. Davis, the credit union is filling a logical role as the expediters and administrators of a disaster relief fund for the Stanford Community to contribute to. “The Red Cross is about saving lives,” said Davis, “And the credit union is about people helping people.” SFCU will match the contributions up to a total of $10,000. Donations may be sent to the Disaster Relief Fund, c/o SFCU, P.O. Box 10690, Palo Alto, CA 94303-0843
