INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Credit Union League has established CUnited to assist victims of September 11′s terrorist attacks. Money collected from credit unions in the state will be given to the New York Credit Union Foundation. Credit unions that make donations will be able to order lapel stickers bearing the CUnited logo, as well as recognition markers for individual donors to sign and display. WGE FCU in Muncie has already committed $1 for each of its 20,000 members. The credit union has also issued a $1 per member challenge to credit unions throughout Indiana. The Indiana Credit Union League has also contributed $20,000 to CUnited.
