SYDNEY, Australia – The words "Best of Breed" echo through the halls of the Credit Union Service Corporation of Australia, Ltd. (CUSCAL). One of the ways they are trying to improve their service to members is a new check signature card imaging system. Over 1.1 million cards need to be imaged. Previously member credit unions sent the cards to their state offices. Once the system is full operational credit unions will send their cards only to the Sydney office. Credit unions will also have the choice whether to have their cards returned or destroyed. Of course if they chose to destroy the cards, a great deal of storage space will be saved.
