Clarke-American's "Pride in America" check chance for CUs to show their support for terrorist attack victims

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Clarke-American is asking credit unions to show their support for the victims of terrorists’ Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon by purchasing the company’s specially designed “Pride in America” check. Clarke-American will donate $1 for every check order and 50-cents from every label order of the Pride in America design to The September 11 fund. The fund was set up by the United Way and The New York Community Trust to mobilize resources to respond to the needs of victims and their families of September 11′s tragic events. The funds are being administered by the two organizations. Orders for checks and labels are being taken by the Clarke American call centers, clarkeamerican@home, clarkeamerican@branch, and other branch order entry systems. Check orders only are being taken at Check Reorder Express, www.checkreorderexpress.com. Labels are not available at that Web address. The offer is currently available and does not have an effective end date as yet.
