The total number of such mergers is only 15, however activity has picked up in the last few years, with seven currently pending. The size of converting CUs is also on the rise. Visit www.cutimes.com to cast your vote on the future of these mergers. The poll question is as follows: “There have been 15 credit union-to-mutual savings bank conversions so far, but there are currently another seven in the pipeline.
