"Everyone here at the Association of Credit Union Internal Auditors (ACUIA) are experiencing a range of emotions from the tragic events that occurred on September 11th. Some of us have experienced relief, particularly in the New York and Washington D.C. areas, knowing that loved-ones, friends, and colleagues are accounted for. Fear and uncertainty for those waiting to hear news of the missing. And sadly, the pain and anger for those that have lost someone from the terrorist attacks. "The ACUIA clearly is united in expressing its sympathetic thoughts and prayers to the many innocent people and families whose lives have ended or who survived but will never again be the same. "At the same time, we also praise our fellow citizens who have risen above dire circumstances to reach out and assist those in need." The ACUIA Board of Directors: Randy Manscill-America First Credit Union; Valerie Weimer-Fort Worth Community Credit Union; Anne Evenson Rajanen-South Carolina Federal Credit Union; Terry McEachern-Royal Credit Union; Ennio Cavuoto-Bethpage Federal Credit Union; Jack Champlain-Boeing Employees Credit Union; Patricia Richey-Finance Center Federal Credit Union.
