EUREKA, Calif. – In the wake of a wildfire that recently burned through the town of Weaverville, Coast Central Credit Union is lending a helping hand to residents here. The $395 million credit union has implemented a fire-assistance program where members can take advantage of a 5% loan up to $5,000 for a 24-month period. With damage assessments still underway, members haven't yet applied for the new low interest loan.
