AEDC Credit Union, Tullahoma, Tenn., has celebrated 50 years of service in Middle Tennessee. Founded by eight Arnold Engineering Development Center employees in 1951, what started as a one-room operation has grown to become one of the largest federally chartered credit unions. AEDC CU has $747 million in assets and serves over 107,000 members. Star Harbor Federal Credit Union, Rancho Dominquez, Calif., has recently celebrated its 45th Anniversary. Special guest star Charlie “The Star Kist Tuna” entertained over 360 members who attended the festivities. In addition to being served refreshments and cake members were entered in raffles and every 45th member who walked through the front door was handed a golden dollar. Star Harbor has $19 million in assets and serves 5,809 members.
