RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – After several months of logistical planning, CU Direct Corp. has moved its data center into a new 11,000 square-foot facility in Rancho Cordova, Calif. The new facility means CU Direct can consolidate the servers and other technology of the CUDL system from the various locations within the Sacramento area, including The Golden 1 CU Data Center. The move opens the way for the upgrade of CUDL's PC Point-of-Purchase system to a browser-based format. Auto dealers having an Internet connection and Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher will be able to access the CUDL system. The online interface is currently being rolled out to the 1,300 dealers using the system. Dealers will be able to print transaction reports by date range, credit union, or status of an application. The new system will also include search capabilities dealers can use to find and review an application quickly and efficiently by a CU member's name or other information.
